The Role

The applicant should have suitable previous experience and recognised qualifications, and be familiar with the process of producing drawings suitable for client presentations, planning, UK building Regulations and construction packages from concept through to construction, detailing and specification documents.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects ranging from contemporary residential schemes, new build dwellings, house extensions and alterations, Listed Buildings, commercial and leisure projects.

The job will require a demonstrable good knowledge and experience of AutoCAD, plus Sketchup, plus good presentational, design, written and verbal communication skills.

The Practice

The practice has been established in Tewkesbury for over 40 years, moving into its current offices in 1990 in the Library Building they designed, and where they occupy spacious light & airy offices on the second floor, with attractive views over the town and its surroundings.

There is on site free secure car parking and the applicant will be expected to be a car-owner. The vacancy will be offered with an initial 3-month probationary period.

This is an opportunity to join a small, busy friendly practice in attractive surroundings, and a chance to play an active role in the design process, as part of a project team.
